Dear Shalini,

The organization is correct at their level as you don't have exp. in CDM and they can not consider you with ur current CTC if it's already not in between their range. In any industry if your past work exp. is not relevant then it will not be consider as exp at current level.

If organization want to hire fresher then why will they consider you who already has bigger salary than their current salary levels. Freshers can easily obtained in the market for less money than experience one.

If you want to join CDM then you need to sacrifice your salary demands or wait for the organization who will pay you atleast ur current CTC.

If I were you I would project the growth with the current job as well as the CDM job and then would take a decision.. In simpler words, choose the field which has fast growth both career wise as well as monterily. You have the picture of bio informatics now and scope of clinical research in India is obvious.. So, I would be happy for a break through comprising to the salary part..

Hope my thought is sensible...

Wish you all the good luck shalini...Best Regards...Pnreddy :) :)

That's what I wanted to tell Shalini that if you really want to join CDM and you think CDM will give you more and fast growth then compromise on salary and join CDM Organization.

This is what I done when I was working with XXXXX Bank in HR Department for more than 2 years. I joined MNC CRO where the salary which they offered me was less than what I was getting!!!!

But today I am proud of my decision to join CR Industry as today my experience of 6 years in CDM is giving me good oppertunities to grow!!!

Hope my experinece will help you to think. But use your logic and brain before taking any decision.

I Like CDM  :)
